Vilau develops the ISR television channel on the Internet

Vilau - a company specialising in the all-round management of communication channels on new digital media - has developed the Institute for Sustainability of Resources? Internet television channel. The channel, which was launched on 12 March last, offers information in audiovisual format about the entity's activity in the area of environmental management.

Providing its experience in the audiovisual environments and the creation of communication channels for public bodies and large enterprises, Vilau has created a television which, making use of the audiovisual potential and the Internet, will act as a dynamic complement to the ISR?s website.

"We wanted a powerful communication channel on the Internet to publicise our activity and the work of our sponsors (the public and private entities that collaborate with the Institute) in an attractive way. We also want ISR tv to be a reference source of information for players related to the environment", as Carlos Martinez Orgado, Director of the ISR, explains.

The programming of the television channel includes news, reports, interviews, agenda and information about the events organised by the Institute. Users can see the programmes as they are broadcast and programming that shows the contents to be broadcast later. They can also see a number of highlighted videos. In addition, a wealth of audiovisual files will be created so that users can access the contents that have been broadcast on the channel using a search engine.

Vilau has managed the entire ISR tv channel creation process, including the design, technological integration and production of contents. "The people at the ISR were clear that an Internet television channel is a very attractive communication tool. So we have designed a completely customised channel that adapts to the needs they presented to us", as Javiera Calera, the company's Managing Director, points out. Once the channel has been launched, the technical and production team at Vilau update the programming.
