Vilau wins the public contest for the development and maintenance of the corporate television channel for the local Government of Vizcaya
The local government has chosen the project presented by Vilau to create a television channel that will offer information about public services and general interest content. The channel will be broadcast on screens located in the buildings of the Government of Vizcaya with a large number of visitors.
Vilau, a company specialising in the all-round management of communication channels on new digital media, has been awarded the public contest with a project fulfilling the criterion required by the Government of Vizcaya, in its aim of bringing the institution closer to the people, using digital media.
Vilau?s proposal consists of the creation of a television channel that will include updated information about the different departments of the institution, such as administrative areas, public job vacancies and news along with more general content about the city of Bilbao and the region: cultural events, historic heritage, tourist resources, etc.
Vilau has designed a channel that will be accessible for the hard of hearing and visually handicapped people, including daily content translated to signs language. Moreover, all the information will be offered in two languages (Spanish and Basque).
This television channel will be broadcast on screens located in the halls and waiting rooms of the different buildings of the Government of Vizcaya, offering information to those waiting for attention. Furthermore, the television channel is being considered as a new internal communication tool for the civil servants.
Vilau, a company with a wide ranging experience in the most innovative technology for the development of corporate television channels, will fully manage the television during the two years of the award, from the channel?s creative conception, technical solution implantation, content production and updating, continuity management, technical support and publishing maintenance of the channel. The main novelty of this project is that Vilau will use a broadcast system, as the channel will be broadcast from the company to different screens located on the buildings of the Government, with content updating daily.
Once the project has been awarded, Vilau?s professional team will work in coordination with the managers of the Government of Vizcaya for the running of the television channel.
